To get rid of yellowing from white appliances, try this,mix together hafe cup bleach, fourth cup baking soda and four cups warm water. sponge and let set for ten minutes. rinse and dry.
Instead or using commercial waxes, shine with rubbing alcohol.

Blender
Fill part way with hot tap water, add a drop of detergent. Cover and turn on for a few seconds, rinse and let dry.

cutting boards
To get rid of onion,garlic,or fish smells from cutting board.Cut a lime or lemon in hafe, rub the surface with cut side of fruit. Or you can make a paste of baking soda and water, apply generously, rinse well.

copper pots
Fill a spray bottle with vinegar and add 3 tablespoons of salt. Spray solution liberally on copper pot. Let set for a while, and simply rub clean.
Or : Dip lemon halves in salt and rub.
Or: Rub with Worcestershire sauce or catsup. The tarnish will disappear.
Or: Clean with toothpaste and rinse.
